The Invincibelle Wee White® Hydrangea by Proven Winners ColorChoice® is the first dwarf smooth hydrangea in the world! It grows from 1 to 2.5 feet tall but has beautiful large reblooming white flowers. This is first available to the market in the spring of 2018!

This smooth hydrangea shrub has strong stems that hold the large flowers upright. The compact bush looks like a bouquet of flowers. The versatile plant is perfect for people that have limited space, but want maximum impact from their garden. The reblooming flowers grow on old and new wood, and continue to produce new flowers from early summer to late fall.

This plant is native to North America and great for pollinating insects and other animals. It also means it is easier to care for than other non-native plant species. The Invincibelle Wee White Hydrangea was also the Winner of the 2018 Direct Gardening Association Green Thumb award. We expect this plant to be a very popular plant due to being easy to care for and the beautiful outcome with minimal work!

Invincibelle Wee White Hydrangea Care

Plant this arborescens hydrangea in a location that receives at least 6 hours of sunlight for best results. In warmer climates, it is best to provide some shade in the afternoon. This helps the plant get enough energy to create flowers and grow strong stems to hold the flowers upright. The soil needs to be well-drained. We also recommend adding a layer of mulch around the base of the plant to help retain moisture and provide an extra layer of protection in the winter.

Pruning Invincibelle Wee White Hydrangeas is very simple. Cut the branches back by about a ⅓ of the length. This helps promote the growth of more flowers, and also helps the stems become stronger. Prune in early spring just as new growth starts to appear. You can also trim dead or sick branches and leaves throughout the year as needed.

Fertilize in early spring, before new growth starts to appear, and before pruning. Use common slow release fertilizer designed for woody plants, such as roses. Apply using directions on the label.

Invincibelle Wee White Hydrangea Spacing

Space the plants 2 to 3 feet apart, center on center. If you are growing a small landscaping border, or short hedge, you can plant 18 to 24 inches apart, center on center. These are also great in garden planters. Use same spacing guidelines as above if you choose to grow more than 1 per container.

    Size does...

Posted by Jason Gervais on Jul 18, 2022

I bought the hydrangea thinking it was going to be beautiful. What showed up? The Charlie Brown Christmas tree version of hydrangea. I reached out to the company and they told me that what I received was the expectation and the experience they provide for their customers. I absolutely will not be using this place again. I should have gone to my local nursery.

    Absolutely...

I suppose that word gorgeous is frequently used in reviews for this plant but it is well-earned. All the hydrangeas I have bought through Plant Addicts have been beautiful.

I have just received them and have not planted them yet. The packaging could be better. Dirt falls out all over. I had to press the dirt back into the pot.

Thought the plant was small, it started growing and budding in a couple weeks. Strong, hearty plant.

Very, very, small and not well...

Posted by Gina Bocra on Oct 03, 2020

I ordered two plants. By the time I received them, one had lost most of the soil and about half of its leaves and branches. These plants were $30 each and were very small. I’ll see if they survive, but not likely that I will ever order from this company again.

    Good customer...

Posted by Jeanne Massaquoi on Jul 03, 2020

I bought the wee whites for my sister and she was very pleased at the size and health of the plants. She has noticed the new growth in such a short time and she has thanked me profusely. I am glad I stumbled on this site and will use it more often. She and I are Proven Winners fans/addicts/believers for a very long time.

    Sweet and...

Posted by Tami Rangel on Jun 30, 2020

I have a spot in our landscaping that I wanted to try these Wee Whites, despite the negative reviews I read about them across many platforms (i.e. leaves browning, not hardy, etc. I placed my order through Plant Addicts and was not disappointed. The plants arrived promptly and were wrapped well, incurring no damage in the shipping. I planted them, and so far, so good. They’re sweet and little, as they should be coming in a quart-size container, but I am seeing new growth. Hopefully they will thrive where I planted them.
