White hydrangeas can act very differently depending on the type of plant you have. Some hydrangeas will turn from green to white or white to green. Other hydrangeas can turn from white to pink. And a few hydrangeas will stay a true white all summer long. Unlike other hydrangeas, you cannot control whether a hydrangea turns to pink or green by adjusting the pH of the soil. White hydrangea flowers are terrific for cut flower arrangements or adding a fresh look to your garden outside all summer and fall.
