How Much To Apply

New Flower Beds

• Mix 4 lbs. of Flower-tone into the top 4-5 inches of soil per 80 square feet.
• Reapply after plants are established.

Planting Flowers

• Seeds: Plant to recommended depth, fill with soil, and sprinkle 2 tablespoons of Flower-tone over the seed.
• Container Flowers: Remove plant, loosen roots, and place in hole. Refill with soil, mixing 2 tablespoons of Flower-tone for seedlings or 1/2 cup for larger plants. Water thoroughly.

Established Flowers

• Individual Plants: Sprinkle up to 1/2 cup Flower-tone around the base.
• Flower Beds: Apply 4 lbs. per 80 square feet.

Potted Plants

• New Plants: Mix 2 cups Flower-tone per cubic foot of soil (1.5 tbsp. per quart).
• Established Plants: Sprinkle 1.5 tsp. per 4 inches of pot diameter along the outer edge. Water thoroughly.

How To Apply

Sprinkle Flower-tone evenly around plants, avoiding contact with foliage or stems. Do not create mounds. After application, water the plants thoroughly and rinse any fertilizer off the leaves.
