The Rainbow Rhythm® Persian Ruby Daylily will be the jewel of any garden. A stunning Hemerocallis hybrid, Rainbow Rhythm® Persian Ruby produces huge flowers, up to 8 inches wide, of deep purple petals with a yellow throat. Growing to 30 inches tall, this perennial has a multitude of garden uses. 

The Rainbow Rhythm® Persian Ruby Daylily is tough and easy to grow in almost any setting. It is rabbit resistant and bound to attract pollinators and hummingbirds. Drought tolerant once established, this daylily is hardy in zones 3 to 9. Rainbow Rhythm® Persian Ruby is ideal for injecting color into a border or for growing in a container or cutting garden.

Rainbow Rhythm® Persian Ruby Daylily Care

Full sun is required for the best blooms. However, it can also cope with partial shade. It happily grows in any soil type and pH as long as good drainage is present. Water regularly during the first year of growth. Once established, watering is only required during hot and dry spells. Fertilizing is not usually required; instead, mulch annually with organic matter in the spring. 

Remove spent flowers and their stems as they develop. Divide crowded plants in spring every few years.

The Rainbow Rhythm® Persian Ruby Daylily can reach a final size of 30 inches tall by 18 to 24 inches across. Space plants 18 to 24 inches apart to give them room to fill out.
