It is relatively low maintenance and can survive in soil types from sand to clay with varying moisture levels and in a variety of climates. The tremendous blossoms this daylily produces attracts butterflies and hummingbirds all while being pest resistant, making it the perfect addition to any landscape.
Maximum height for the Primal Scream Daylily can grow to be an impressive thirty-six inches tall with large blooms reaching up to eight inches! This perennial has a gorgeous orange flower that blooms mid to late summer with complementary green foliage. It is well served as a border plant or used for group planting. It is sure to be the highlight of any landscape or garden.
Rainbow Rhythm Primal Scream Daylily Care
This daylily is low maintenance. It can be planted in the early fall or early spring for warmer climates. For cooler climates, planting can take place any time of the year except winter. For peak flowering this daylily should be planted in a well-drained, full sun area. However, they are tough and can adapt. They are salt tolerant and will survive next to sidewalks and driveways. This daylily can be added to sloped area or under trees. To encourage re-bloom remove depleted blooms and seed pods as needed.
